Eric Benhamou
Board Member
Eric Benhamou is chairman and CEO of Benhamou Global Ventures, LLC. Started in 2003, Benhamou Global Ventures invests and plays an active role in innovative high tech firms throughout the world. Among recent activities, Eric was the chairman of the board of 3Com Corporation prior to its acquisition by HP in 2010. He also served as chief executive officer of 3Com from 1990 until 2000. Eric currently serves as chairman of the board of Cypress Semiconductor and on the boards of RealNetworks and Silicon Valley Bank. He is an adjunct professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise at INSEAD, and a visiting professor at Ben Gurion University. Eric’s professional and personal accomplishments center around the creation and intelligent deployment of information technology to improve the performance of businesses and non-profits, and to improve the quality of life of individuals around the world.
Richard Bush
Chairman and Founder
A start-up veteran, Dick has over 30 years of experience in high-tech engineering, sales, and marketing in computer storage, security, and communications industries. As founding CEO of Identity Engines, Dick raised two rounds of venture capital and led the company until assuming the chairman’s role in May of 2006. Prior to his time with Identity Engines, Dick was chairman and founder of Caw Networks which was acquired in 2002 by Spirent Communications, the market leader in network test and measurement. Prior to Caw, Dick was a founder and VP of marketing at Auspex Systems.
Kristen Hughes
Board Member
Kristen Hughes is a private investor in Silicon Valley. She started her own investment firm, Swan Capital Strategies, after working in technology venture capital and investment banking for fifteen years. She began her career at Morgan Stanley in the technology corporate finance group. After working at a couple of enterprise software companies in business development and product management, she spent nine years at Morgan Stanley Venture Partners investing in expansion-stage enterprise technology companies. Most recently, she worked at EMC Corporation, where she managed the company's private investment portfolio. Kristen is based in Menlo Park, California, and is also on the board of the Palo Alto Community Fund.
Mike Maples, Jr.
Board Member
Mike Maples, Jr. is a managing partner of FLOODGATE, which offers a unique Super Angel fundraising model. Before becoming a full-time investor, Mike was an entrepreneur and operating executive who worked in a variety of senior management roles in high-growth companies. His background spans a variety of markets including consumer technology, small business, and the enterprise, and he has led various functions in product development, marketing, business development, and corporate strategy. Mike holds an Engineering degree from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Clay Marr
CEO
Clay is an experienced CEO and sales and marketing executive. Clay has worked at Fortune 500 companies (Fairchild, Philips and Adaptec), and at start-ups (Plus Logic, RadioLAN, and DRC ). For the last few years, Clay has been CEO of Silicon Valley Consulting, working with colleagues who share his passion for building highly valuable companies with highly effective management teams. He is also currently serving as chairman of Fiddle Games. He has a BSAE from Purdue University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
